The most common type, tension headaches, feel like a constant ache or pressure around the head, especially at the temples or back of the head and neck.

Caffeine headaches can occur from either overconsumption or sudden withdrawal. Symptoms include throbbing pain and can be relieved by moderating caffeine intake.
Triggered by physical activity, exertional headaches occur during or after exercise. They are usually short-lived but can be severe.
Also known as brain freeze, these headaches occur when something cold touches the roof of the mouth, causing a sudden, sharp pain in the head.
